What’s Your Favorite Number???

Until today, I had never thought about a “favorite number” but I have one NOW! And it’s the CRAZIEST NUMBER IN THE WORLD!!! 13… that’s my favorite number… but in French it’s pronounced treize… and “Treize” is now my NEW FAVORITE PLACE TO HAVE LUNCH IN ALL OF PARIS!!! That’s right!!! There is a darling, darling little spot just across from the Luxembourg Gardens at #5 rue de Medicis (in the 6th) called TREIZE. It was started by the sweetest lady from Charleston, South Carolina!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT… practically in my own back yard!!! The menu has tasty Southern inspired dishes with a french flair to them. People from the USA are flocking to this place to get a taste of “home” and the Parisians are praising the food as well. OF COURSE little doggies are welcome here and there is space to eat on the tiny sidewalk area or indoors in the AIR-CONDITIONED space… whichever you prefer. All of the staff stopped by to say hello and were soooo very friendly, offering to bring me water or chicken or BACON!!! OH MY GOODNESS. No matter where you are from… you MUST EAT HERE. We will be going back with our friends later this month and hope that you will add this to your MUSTS when dining in Paris. Ask to see Laurel or Esme… those are two sweet ladies that we remember, but really… EVERYONE was so very nice. The food was delicious and Mummy recommends everything pictured! ?❤️??? TREIZE is your new LUCKY NUMBER!!! ?

Oh, Millie, that grown-up lemonade would sure hit the spot today. I spent some time in S.Carolina many years ago and stayed at Charleston Place. The food and the sweet peach tea was truly wonderful. I cannot remember a meal that I didn’t just love in S. Carolina, the first first time eating collard greens as well and loving them. It is the eve before the terrible hurricanes come to the land and I am praying all of your friends and loved ones are safe from harm. I will be watching and thinking about all of you and my heart… Read more »

Oh I wish there were places here that allowed little doggies to go inside! smh people seem to have enough trouble getting in stores with their little dogs much less eating with them! Most allow doggies on their outdoor patio but most of them don’t take orders outdoors or bring your food out so how do you get your food? smh This restaurant sounds wonderful Millie!
