We are always looking for easy recipes that we can prepare on the grill while traveling.  This is an EASY one for home OR travel and you will LOVE IT.  This is super great for parties too.  If you have any leftovers, they are great to eat later, just cold from the fridge while you watch the late show on TV!

SRIRACHA AND HONEY CHICKEN WINGS

.

2 pounds chicken wings

1/4 cup Sriracha sauce (add more if you like it really HOT!)

1/2 cup pineapple sauce

4 Tablespoons honey

2 Tablespoons rice wine vinegar

2 Tablespoons olive oil

4 teaspoons toasted sesame oil

4 teaspoons minced garlic

.

Combine all of your marinade ingredients in a large bowl and whisk together.  Pour 1/2 of it into a gallon-size ziplock baggie and add your wings.  Roll up the baggie tightly and squish the marinade into the wings…get it all as tight as you can so the marinade is really packed around those wings!  Store in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

.

Preheat your grill and spray the surface with Pam.  Cook the wings over medium heat…start with the meatiest side down.  Turn them about every 3-5 minutes and each time you turn, brush them with the reserved 1/2 of the marinade (do NOT use the marinade that you soaked your wings in…this is contaminated with raw chicken!!!).  Grill for about 15-20 minutes and ENJOY!  We like ours with a little extra char, but YOU are the “grill-master” and can do yours however you like! 🙂
