For the past few weeks in Paris I have been living like a Queen… well, sort of. I have been LIVING where the Queens used to live a few hundred years ago… well, sort of. I imagine that the little apartment where I am staying was most likely used by one of the courtiers of the royal family… the REAL QUEENS stayed in the GRAND SALONS in the huge main building you see pictured. My apartment is in one of the side wings of the Royal Palace and the back door opens directly onto the Royal garden with the huge fountain in the center. I can only say that it has been an honor to stay at such a place steeped in history and have cherished my walks each morning around the palace grounds. For my friends who have asked to see the apartment, I have included a few pictures. There are 3 floors: the main floor contains the living room that opens onto the garden out the back door, there is a staircase leading UPSTAIRS to 2 bedrooms and one bath, and another staircase leading DOWNSTAIRS to a small kitchen with a 1/2 bath. The apartment has been modernized, of course, but there remain lots of antique moldings, chandeliers, doors and tile flooring, that add to the beauty of the apartment. ❤️?? Oh, thank you Miss Millie. I see your special toy on the bed, you relaxing on the sofa, your best china and where you and mom make those much needed ice cubes. Thank you so very much for sharing. No wonder the French are so lean — up and down stairs to eat and sleep!

I see you have a Washing machine but oh the fridge is so small. Three stories to go up and down! Enjoy!
