When you come to Paris there is no shortage of places to eat. A café is on every corner and in the middle of every block. Boulangeries and Pâtisseries are too numerous to mention… but when you chance upon an ARTISAN boulanger-pâtissier-traiteur, you better peek inside and see what they have to offer!!! The ARTISAN shops are the ones where the products are made on the premises and not shipped in from large factories already made or partially made. They are a much better quality and very sought after by the true Parisians! This one in the 16th arrondissement called “Bonon” is located at 14 Rue Longchamp and we found it by accident… just strolling around the neighborhood. After buying a little quiche, a tarte aux fraises and numerous other little sweet bites, you better believe that we will be back for MORE! And yes, Mummy gave me a few nibbles of the quiche AND the tarte… afterall, I DID WRITE A FAMOUS COOKBOOK!!! I know a few things about GOOD FOOD ya know! And this is TRES BON! Look up “Bonon” the next time you are in Paris… you won’t be disappointed. The staff at “Bonon” was extra friendly and helpful, as all the French people have been to us during our stay! We are so thankful for their willingness to speak English to us and suffer through Mummy’s butchering of their beautiful French language. I hope they realize that she is really trying to learn and is doing her best… bless her little heart. ❤
