Today me and Mummy and Daddy went exploring around the 5th arrondissement of Paris and happened upon this most lovely building called “The Grande Mosquée de Paris.” I can tell you a little of its history: it was completed in 1926 and features a 100+ foot high minaret. Inside the main door is a lovely tiled patio, shaded by lots of trees, where they serve up a very hot, mint sweet tea in tiny gold-trimmed glasses that the waiters keep circulating around the patio. The tea is 2 euros a glass. There is also a small restaurant further inside but we didn’t go in there… anyway, we saw a few signs indicating NO DOGGIES so I might not have been allowed anyway. No one said anything to me in my carrying bag on the outdoor tiled patio though. Mummy loved the mint tea and Daddy just said it was “ok” but he is really a coffee drinker so what does he know anyway?!?! Pop inside here for the tea and to rest your tired legs if you are ever in the area. ?????
sounds like a beautiful place! ill hv to check it out when im there
Hope you are having a great time showing daddy Paris.
Millie tell Daddy I don’t like sweet tea. I like my tea with no sugar! I also like my coffee with just a tea spoon of half & half and no sugar.. coffee is my morning preference and tea in the afternoon. THANK you for sharing!! ?♥❤??☕?
ohhhhhh I have to have sweet tea every morning but I have cold tea my day doesn’t start without sweet tea! LOL I’m sure it’s fun showing Daddy all your favorite things in Paris! To bad he wasn’t there to help your Mummy get the chair she wanted! LOL
Sounds lovely.
Be sure to go to Amorino for gelato!! It’s the best I’ve ever had. There are lots of locations in Paris. We went everyday to the one in the Latin Quarter in the 6th Arr. just around the corner from Notre Dame. You choose several flavors and they dip it up into a beautiful flower. Almost too beautiful to eat — ALMOST!
OMG… there is one just 50 steps from
The door of my apartment here in the Latin Quarter. We keep meaning to go there every night but something else comes up… but we will get there!!!
Ohhh I love sweet tea! Hot or cold, both wonderful! My hubby is not a tea drinker either, Millie. That’s ok more for your mummy! 🙂
Oh you must!!! It’s delish!
